It is available with either a 52x Plextor CD-R/RW mechanism, or the new Pioneer DVR-111.The Pioneer 111 handles DVD-R/RW, DVD + R / RW, and CD-R/RW, and is an 16x16 format writer, meaning it is capable of writing at 16x speed on DVD-R and DVD + R discs. It will record DVD-RW and + RW discs at up to 8x speed, and CD-R and CD-RW discs at up to 32x CD-R/RW speed.The version is a 52x/24x/52x (write/re- write / read) mechanism, giving you the fastest speeds available for all your CD work. Wildfire ships with a FireWire cable, power cable and media so you can start burning right away.
